I know, it was supposed to say PRICELESS.  It was, but it was even more outstanding!  Everyone should have the opportunity to do this, to have a sabbatical type year.  The unfortunate thing is that it means being out of the profession for a season, but it is definitely worth it.

This trip, and the one I made in early Fall for individual workouts, have made me a better person and basketball coach.

Thank you to all who so willingly shared their program’s with me.

I’d love to provide all of the drills, plays, ideas – but that wouldn’t be fair to everyone who was so gracious to let me in.  I will  share, anonymously, some of the really great and creative things I saw.  As I reach back out to coaches on what they are “OK” that I share, I will put up more.

It was a tremendous week.  I hope to put two more of these trips together.  An Ohio / Kentucky and Mid-West trip and a New York / New Jersey / Philadelphia trip.

Also, I was present for the rules clarification and presentation.  The biggest conversation is regarding the new travel rule that will basically eliminate the spin move.

Next, it’s time to start games.  I will write up post game reports and scouting reports with a phenominal new product called FastScout.  FastScout is a revolutionary new scouting and diagramming product.  Check out a sample report created in FastScout HERE.
