NCAA Tourney Time! I have two TV’s and two computers with split monitors going…
usually 3-6 games at once… and it’s NOT ENOUGH! You know there is problem when I eat all of my meals in my office in front of the computer! Love it!
Here are my random thoughts on great performances, sleepers, great games and the upsets in the NCAA Tournament.
Is it too early to start looking at the 2014 draft? Alyssa Thomas put on a special performance vs. Quinnipiac, then followed it up with another eye popper vs. Michigan State. I know Quinnipiac is a 13 seed and not what Thomas is used to seeing in the ACC or what she will see in the WNBA, but she did it all vs. Michigan State as well – drive, transition, rebound, create shots, make teammates better, rebound.
Whew! Thomas had 29 points and 13 rebounds vs. QC and really could not be stopped getting into the lane.
Tianna Hawkins showed her ability and a great niche for this draft, her ability to rebound the ball. She just goes and gets it! Hawkins had 23 points and 16 rebounds for Maryland.
